1. Do I have to have previous sales or insurance experience? No! not at all. We can train anyone who is willing to listen and follow through.
2. What is my start up investment? First, you must obtain a Insurance License in the state where you reside. Fees vary by state for the required 40 hours of License Training and the Application Fees and Appointment Fees. Second, after you have received your license and have been appointed with the sponsoring companies, ordering leads every two weeks is critical to your success. The average start up cost runs approximately $600.00.
3. When will I get my first paycheck? Some companies pay daily, some weekly. Some send the 1st paycheck by mail. Depending on how quickly you get your state license and have your first sales, you could have your 1st paycheck in a week.
4. What type of insurance license do I need? Life and Accident/Health.
5. How do I obtain my Life/Accident insurance license? Each state requires 4O hours of License Training. Once you have obtained the 40 hours License Training Certificate of Completion, you will take the state exam. Once you have successfully passed the state exam, you will receive your license. Once you have your license, we can get you appointed to sell with each of our sponsoring companies.
6. All I have ever heard about selling insurance is that you sit in an office and make phone calls to set appointments or knock on doors making cold calls or sell family and friends. Is that how I would sell with M.A.M.S.? No! We offer an in-house, Direct Mail Lead Program which is guaranteed to put you in front of people each day that have requested information about our Final Expense products. There is no cold calling and NEVER recommend making a phone call to set an appointment.
7. Do I have to travel? Travel is limited to a radius within a short drive from your home each day.
8. Do I have to report to the office and do heavy paperwork to process the applications? No, you can do all of your paperwork in less than 30 minutes at the end of the week in your home.
9. Are there management positions available at M.A.M.S.? Yes, there are management opportunities. Remember, the quicker you grow, the quicker we grow.
10. How much income can I expect to earn my first year? For agents who follow our program, the income potential is $75,000 to $100,000 the first year.
11. Will I get trained? Yes, by one of our managers with years of experience in training people just like yourself.
